Close to Ayios Andreas, on a peninsula on the road to Leonidio (Repontina place), there is a model and autonomous settlement of the homogeneous Arcadians, the Arcadian Village.
It has been developed in recent years as part of a national pilot program.
It consists of model beachfront holiday homes for the holiday of Arcadians expatriates. It is planned to build 400 homes, a congress center and other facilities in the final phase.
The route just before the height of the Arcadian village towards Tyros and Leonidio is impressive.
To the right is the Parnonas mountain range, while to the left lies the lacy canine beach in a continuous alternation of calm and beautiful sandy beaches, small bays and peninsulas.
The road to Tyros passes by the beaches of Kryoneri and Tseflos with their small settlements and then from the settlement of Ayios Christoforos to Zarisi bay, where there is a nice beach.
