A village of sailors and merchants, Pragmatefti is a traditional settlement with beautiful picturesque houses and magnificent views of the Myrtoan Sea. It is located NE and has an altitude of 150-250 m.
It also includes two settlements, the Livadi and the Sabatiki.
Pragmatefti was formerly called «Capital» because it was the largest of the surrounding settlements (Episkopi, Lakes, Kaiaphas, Thiopafto). In the center of the settlement there is the church of Holy Trinity, also the church of St. John in the cemetery (18th century), St. Paraskevi in Livadi, St. George (Limnes) and the church dedicated to Virgin Mary (Sabatiki), to the east of which there are the ruins of old buildings, apparently cells and auxiliary rooms.
